DEAD MAN’S FLATS
A contemporary 2,500 sft residential project, split over two levels. The owner decided not to put a basement. Therefore, creative storage solutions had to be looked for and were created successfully.
WPTF together with the customer decided European Northern Spruce was the most suitable choice for this project and the beams and rafters where finished with a fine grit sanded and dark stained surface building a beautiful contrast but also being complimentary to the modern, light colored interior.
The designer did a meticulous job bringing lots of light into this house by creating three cubes that are staggered.
The Enerficient Panel System with 8” core walls and a 12” core roof was used to construct the building envelope, which went up in a very short period of time.
